HIGH PRIEST! |
"For we do not have a High Priest Who is unable to understand and sympathize and have a shared feeling with our weaknesses and infirmities and liability to the assaults of temptation, but One Who has been tempted in every respect as we are, yet without sinning." (Hebrews 4:15 – AMP)- Today I will live in the now! I will live in the now because I have the assurance that my compassionate and empathetic High Priest is interceding for me today. It is written: "For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved" (John 3:17); Jesus has not come to condemn me, but to bring me personal salvation on every level of my life!
- Today I will remember that Jesus is praying for me, ever living to make intercession on my behalf in an effort to save me to the uttermost (Hebrews 7:25).
- Today I will be honest and transparent before Him, knowing that His love covers a multitude of my sins. All things are naked and open to His eyes (Hebrews 4:13), and Christ Himself has born my shame by hanging naked on the cross for me. He Who knew no sin became sin for me. In Him I am forgiven! In Him I am righteous! In Him I am justified! In Him I am blameless! In Him I am holy! In Him I am complete!
- Today I will trust the Apostle and High Priest of my confession (Hebrews 3:1) to watch over my words, to anoint them with His own creative ability and to present them to the Father as a worthy sacrifice of praise.
- Today I will effectively overcome temptation because He will, with the temptation, make a way of escape for me (1 Corinthians 10:13). Sin will not have dominion over me as I walk in the Spirit and not in the flesh.
- Today I will honestly worship the Son Who was and is a faithful High Priest over all His house (Hebrews 3:2-6). I will embrace Christ – the Prophet, Christ – the Priest, and Christ – the King, knowing that I will receive blessings from all of the facets of His superior and versatile anointing today.
- Today I will stand in a priestly ministry for someone else, remitting their sins instead of retaining them (John 20:23), and offering up a sacrifice of intercession in their behalf. Freely I have received the priesthood, and freely I will offer it up. Today is a day for me to witness and partake in a great flow of mercy, and today I will live in the now!
