September 2008 E.A.C.H. Award Recipients

We are proud to present this month’s E.A.C.H. award winners: Jack and Lisa Ferrell

Bishop: How long have you been a part of the CITN community?

Jack and Lisa:  Since 1999 (9 years)

Bishop: What ministries are you involved in, and how long have you been involved in each?

Jack:     Back-up CITN shuttle bus driver for 2 years

Lisa:   Childcare, two time a month

Bishop: Why do you give your time and energy to this ministry??

Jack:  Because without this ministry I would not be in hurch.  This church has changed my thinking about God and, in turn, changed my life.

Lisa:  Because I believe the word.  I am able to understand the teachings.  I don't feel condemned.  I also like to help people and this church is full of people helping other people not as fortunate as I.

Bishop: What else would you like to share?

Lisa:  We are so very humbled for being chosen.  It has really convicted me.  All I have thought about [since being told of the award] is how much more I should be doing and plan to start NOW.

Comments from CITN administration:  Besides being consistent givers with their tithes and offerings, Jack and Lisa own Printability, a sign shop in Covington, and for many years now have responded to our every call for signage for CITN.  They have created in-house signs, window decals, all the advertisements on the ball field fence and various extra-large banners, including the Conyers FallFest banners.  They have always done this either for free or simply for the cost of materials required if a special product had to be used.  They have graciously met short-term deadlines in or to accommodate our needs.  Thank you, Jack and Lisa!
