Nursery and Preschool: 0-5 Years
At Church In The Now, we minister God's Word to children of all ages, including our babies. The Nursery & Preschool departments at CITN are divided by age groups ranging from newborn to age six (6). Our classes feature fun activities, praise and worship and the teaching of God's Word by loving and caring teachers.
DreamLand
Birth-2 Years: Where seeds of destiny are born! DreamLand ministers to babies from birth through 2 years of age. DreamLand is located in the East wing of the CITN building.
AdventureLand
2 Years-Kindergarten: Preschoolers ages 2 through kindergarten experience the great adventures of the Kingdom of God. AdventureLand builds a spiritual foundation by weaving Bible stories and basic Biblical truths into the lives of your preschool children. AdventureLand is located in the West wing of the CITN building.
Kids In The Now: 6 Years-5th Grade
At Kids In The Now, our main goal is to "Train up your child in the way that they should go" as according to Proverbs 22:6. Kids In The Now has been voted the greatest and "most fun" children's church this side of heaven.
No Limits Zone
Here's how your child can earn points for the No Limits Zone Cafe
- MONTHLY - Bible Reading (Pick up your sheet at the KITN Info center)
- WEEKLY - Quiet Seat Prize - For kids who go above and beyond in following the rules that day
there are a limited number given out every service they must be redemmed on the same day they are received at the KITN Info Center - WEEKLY - Memory Verse Challenge/Activity Take Home Sheets These must be returned the following Sunday for credit.
- PARENTS CAN PURCHASE points at the KITN Info Center Great for when you bring first time visitors!
Break Out
Break out happens mid way through the service. It's the time where the kids break out into groups and experience the awesome facility that God has blessed Kids In The Now with. They may have the opportunity to visit the indoor playground, the No Limits Zone Cafe, the KITN Game Room, The Dramatic Playroom, Game Station, The Galaxy Landing (outside playground) or our very own Moon Walk. Children must wear a name tag to participate in Break Out activities.
Kiosk Check In Procedures
How do I check my children into their classroom?
Children are checked in at one kiosk location and have all name tags and security cards printed at one time! Kiosk check in stations are located in the main lobby of the church, as well as in the Kids In The Now building lobby. After you check them in, you will then take them to the appropriate classroom and drop them off.
If you have children ages newborn through kindergarten we suggest you use one of the 4 kiosk locations in the main sanctuary building. Your 1st through 5th grader can ride the shuttle bus to the Kids In The Now building or you can bring them to the KITN classroom.
Please remember that all children, will need to be checked in by a parent. No child will be admitted to a CITN classroom without a security name tag.
- At the time of check in you will be asked the last 4 numbers of your home telephone number.
- The kiosk operator will enter in your phone number and this will pull up your family.
- The operator will ask you which children you are checking in and name tags for each child and security cards will be printed.
- All children must wear a security name badge to enter classrooms here at CITN.
- If you are not in our data system you will be asked to step aside and fill out a family information card so that we can add you to our data system.
If your child's teacher needs you during the service time, the security number will be displayed on the auditorium screens.
Example:
KITN A56; KITN is the room location, and A56 is your family security code.
